Squizzz.com has officially launched its first UK based recruitment website. Unlike other more traditional sites, the Squizzz business model is to produce highly focused regional sites. Our aim is not to have one large site broken into regional sectors, rather numerous sites covering each major area of the UK.
Squizzz caters for jobseekers, companies and recruitment agencies and has already received an overwhelming response to its business model.
Managing director, Matthew Brazil said ìSince our launch the response has been amazing. Our initial research indicated that the jobseeker and employer were becoming disillusioned with the larger National Sites. People have been finding these sites increasingly difficult to use due to the shear scale of them.
A recent report indicated the recruitment process takes just as long online as it does offline. Although this gap is changing, it is not fast enough. In business time is money, and if it takes over 4 weeks from vacancy to placement each and every recruiter is spending more than necessary on the recruitment process.
The things that take the time are finding vacancies, uploading them to a site or advertising them in the press, searching through CVs and then interviewing candidates. Squizzz are developing a system to combat these problems and will launch it within the next 6 weeks.
