Spring Group plc (SRG.L), a UK technology staffing company, announces two wide-ranging new contracts with Network Rail, Britain’s rail network operator, with a combined annual revenue of over 10 million. Through these contracts, Spring will provide Network Rail with its temporary, general and IT staffing requirements across the UK.

Spring Personnel, Spring’s general staffing business, will handle Network Rail’s UK-wide temporary commercial and financial staffing requirements, whilst Spring Technology Staffing Services, Spring’s IT staffing business, has been named as a preferred supplier to Network Rail for the provision and management of all Network Rail’s IT contract personnel.

Spring has been a provider of staffing services to Network Rail and its predecessor organisation for a number of years. These new contracts, drawing on Spring’s expertise in both general and technology staffing, build on similar recent new contract wins where Spring is deploying the full range of its recruitment and workforce management services.

Richard Barfield, Chief Executive Officer of Spring Group plc, said: We are delighted that, after a rigorous selection process, Network Rail has chosen to work with Spring. This reflects the strength of each of our services, as well as the advantages to be gained from Spring’s combined business approach. We look forward to building our relationship with Network Rail as we continue to support them with their human capital requirements.
