Spring Group Plc and Human IT Ltd announce a strategic alliance

Spring buys 25% stake

Human Information Technology (Human.IT) has announced that Spring Group Plc (SPG.L - LSE) has recently acquired 25% of the Cambridge-based, limited company through an issue of new Human.IT shares.

Human Information Technology has developed Aspire - a set of unique, web-enabled cognitive assessment tools, which can determine cognitive abilities and problem solving style through interactive, visual, game-like tasks delivered and managed over the Internet.

Dr. Paul Fray, Human.IT''s CEO and founder, said: We are very pleased to be working closely with Spring Group who are committed to developing the Internet potential of recruitment and staffing technology. Through their Workforce Management Solutions, Spring has won significant business in the staffing sector and will now be able to offer the Aspire solution to clients involved in both contract and permanent recruitment.

Aspire is currently being used by Lafarge Roofing, a division of Lafarge, the world leader in building materials, which employs 83,000 people in 75 countries. Holger Thies, HR director of Lafarge Roofing said: We were looking for an Internet enabled, language independent assessment tool for some time and Aspire is a good solution that fits very well to our requirements. It offers us the possibility to introduce a centrally managed, standardised, global assessment facility throughout the business.

Aspire offers recruiters and management development heads language independent assessment, Internet delivery, automatic scoring & feedback together with job specific profiling. This unique profiling technology lets clients develop a detailed, 6-point profile of a particular task or team and then uses this as a template for assessment of potential recruits or other team candidates.
