Small businesses offered employment law advice

.

Professional Personnel Consultants Ltd (PPC), the first HR, Employment Law and Management consultancy in the UK created specifically to service the SME market, is holding ten regional seminars, from September to November, across
the UK to educate businesses on the essentials of employment law.

Small businesses must comply with employment law, which is a time consuming responsibility for business heads and directors. The seminars, which focus on the basic essentials and most recent developments in employment law,
simplify compliance, reducing the risk of prosecution and costly compensation claims.

The seminars will be held in ten different regions across the UK, starting at 9:00am until 1:00pm. Colin Henson and Bob Cleeve, employment law experts at PPC will begin with ’Getting the Basics Right’, which covers employment
contracts, equal opportunities and disciplinary issues. ’Family Friendly Legislation’, covering flexible and part-time working, maternity and paternity leave, and time off for dependants, will follow.

Simon Howes, Business Director of PPC said: It is not usually cost effective for smaller businesses to have designated HR personnel, which means they need reliable external advice and support to ensure they meet legislation. The seminar offers practical advice specifically tailored to SMEs, which serves as a valuable introduction to achieving compliance.

As well as meeting basic requirements in employment law, the seminar covers the latest legislative developments that support the rights of employees to achieve a balance between work and family life - which is a Government
priority, and therefore a priority for every business.

The seminars cost 95.00 plus VAT for each delegate. To book your place call 01480 474740 or visit www.ppclimited.com. PPC is offering attendees a 10%
discount on its services if taken within 3 months after the seminar.
