Skillsarena expands UK presence with new recruits

Skillsarena has appointed three new members of staff as part of its continued UK expansion.

Skillsarena has appointed three new members of staff as part of its continued UK expansion.

Jonathan Oldershaw has joined the company as Business Development Manager. Most recently, Jonathan has run his own recruitment company, finding jobs for New Zealanders visiting the UK, as well as working as a Recruitment Consultant for Michael Page. Prior to this, he has held two sales positions, his most recent being with ACI. His first experience of full-time work after graduating in Geology was spent teaching English to schools and universities in Moldova and Ukraine.

Covering the field sales executive roles are Katy Hill, working in the North of England, and Mike Smith in the South. Katy joins Skillsarena with several years sales experience already behind her. She has spent four years working in sales teams for newspapers and magazines, and another two years as an account executive with Thompson Directories.

Mike Smith, former Account Manager at WDA, the software financing company was also part of the team responsible for the British Grand Prix Special and the Autosport 50th Anniversary awards at Autosport Magazine where he worked as an Advertising executive.

Jane Owen, UK sales director at Skillsarena commented: ìEach of these appointments will bring a new and fresh approach to Skillsarena, enabling us to continue to provide the best possible online skills testing facility to our customers. We see this step as the start of the growth of Skillsarena throughout Europe.
