SJD Accountancy, the UK’s largest contractor accountants with over 11,000 Limited company clients, was recently given the ‘Highly Commended’ accolade at this year’s British Accountancy Age Awards

SJD Accountancy, the UK’s largest contractor accountants with over 11,000 Limited company clients, was recently given the ‘Highly Commended’ accolade at this year’s British Accountancy Age Awards.

Previously known as the Accountancy Age awards, The British Accountancy Age Awards acknowledges those companies and individuals who excel in the accountancy practice community. 2012 appears to be the first year companies reaching a particular entry standard were ‘highly commended’.

Finalists in the ‘mid-tier firm of the year category’, SJD Accountancy narrowly missed out of first place with the award going to Cooper Parry. With over thirteen other hopefuls hoping to win, including Armstrong Watson, Francis Clark and Fitzgerald and Law to name just a few, SJD Accountancy were the only company given special recognition in this category.

Commenting on this special accolade, Managing Director of SJD Accountancy, Simon Dolan, said:

“SJD Accountancy are very lucky to have been finalists in this competitive category. Although disappointing not to have won, to be given special acknowledgement by our peers shows that SJD Accountancy is providing a service to be proud off. I’d like to also thank the great accountants and support staff that make SJD such an award winning and great company to be a part of”.

SJD Accountancy were also listed as the 34th largest accountancy firm in the 2012 Accountancy Age ‘Top 50+50 survey of the UK's biggest accountancy firms’ and are finalists in the 2013 UK Customer Satisfaction Awards by the Institute of Customer Service with winners to be announced in February 2013.
