delivering cost savings and increased service levels to organisations

Siemens Business Services reinforces its activities in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and HR Services market. The Siemens subsidiary offers solutions and services which will enable European customers to improve their HR processes, reduce costs and concentrate on their core business. In order to gain access to experts in HR services as well as business and process change management, Siemens Business Services will be working in close collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers Human Resource Services and Alexander Mann Solutions

The BPO market has an estimated overall market volume of 122 billion euros (2003) and is expected to grow annually by ten percent from 2003 to 2007. The HR Outsourcing market is the largest BPO segment. HR is a natural vehicle for improving organisational effectiveness. For HR to transform itself and ultimately the wider organisation, an innovative approach to the delivery and measurement of the function must be adopted.

Paul A. Stodden, Group President, Siemens Business Services explains, ìOrganisations often face the challenge of controlling fragmented HR processes across business units and countries with non-standardised technology. Our solutions and services help these companies to strategically reposition HR by redesigning the function. We also provide the option to outsource individual HR processes such as payroll or recruitment, or even the complete HR function, enabling customers to focus on their core business strengths.î

I believe this is genuinely a breakthrough in the HR transformation world.î
