Senior appointments announced at Justgroup

Justgroup.net, the leading new media recruitment company, has announced two new appointments and an internal promotion to support growing sales. The latest industry figures reveal online advertising revenues have doubled over the last year and Justgroup results reflect this current trend.

Craig Bines, who joined the company from Corporate 4 U, part of the Caudwell Group, has been promoted to Head of Sales and Communication. His brief is to communicate the benefits of using online recruitment in mixed media branding campaigns to HR Managers as well as highlighting the benefits to recruitment agencies via the telemarketing and account management team.

Media sales expert, Gavin Hudson, has been appointed as Account Manager and will be tasked with growing corporate business as well as managing existing agency accounts. He will particularly focus on the newly launched Justsalesandmarketing.net site -communicating the benefits of online recruitment to the sales and marketing industries. Gavin Hudson joins Justrgroup.net from Michael Page where he was an account manager.

An IT appointment has also been made, joining the team this week is Andy Kelly who has been appointed as Senior Web Developer. He will maintain the growing and changing web presence as well as designing the look and feel of new Justgroup.net site launches.

The company’s recruitment drive is in response to brands - who in the past focused almost exclusively on press, TV and radio advertising - rethinking the role that the internet plays in terms of recruitment campaigns to reach targeted audiences.

This shift is supported by recent findings; online ad spend reached 151.6 million for the first half of 2003, up 85 per cent from 81.8 million for the first half of 2002, and looks set to break the 300 million annual spend mark for the first time. Studies also reveal online to be the fastest growing advertising medium, expanding 35 times faster than the industry overall.
