Searching for the oldest business PC in London

People who purchased a PC for their business twenty years ago probably never expected to still be using the same machine in the 21st century

People who purchased a PC for their business twenty years ago probably never expected to still be using the same machine in the 21st century. However, an early scan of the entries coming in for the ëSearch for the oldest business PC in Londoní competition, being organised by Kinitron Total IT Care, reveals that 386 and even 286 machines are still being put through paces by businesses, colleges and even government departments across the Capital.

Dr Xeno Andriopolous, managing director of Kinitron Total IT Care comments, ìWith overall business performance being tied so closely to the power of IT, it is incredible that so many organisations are still relying on PCs that just cannot keep pace with modern business demands.î

If you think your business computer is a museum piece please send details of its business function, hardware and software specification to oldestPC@kinitron.co.uk. All entries to be received by September 17th, 2004. See www.kinitron.co.uk/competition.htm for the terms and conditions.
