Sammons Win Prestigious Industry Accolade for Pensions Recruitment

At this year’s Professional Pensions Awards, City-based Pensions Recruitment Consultancy The Sammons Group won the award for UK Pensions Recruitment Consultancy of the Year 2004.

The Awards ceremony was a spectacular black tie dinner in the Great Room at the Grosvenor (where the night before the BAFTAs had been presented!), where a host of key players in the pensions industry were assembled.

Jimmy Tarbuck, who was presenting the awards, got more than he bargained for as Dianne Beer (Associate Director and Head of the Pensions Division) thanked him with a great big kiss, much to the delight of the crowd! (She had promised her team that she would ’kiss’ Jimmy Tarbuck if they won, and as their clients and candidates know, Sammons never make promises they can’t keep!) His response? My mother told me there’d be days like these - if only they were all that pretty!
