Research by Oriel Support has revealed that 41 per cent of people behind recruitment consultancy start-ups cite a desire for independence as the main reason for striking out on their own.
The complete financial outsourcing provider also found that 29 per cent are setting up their own consultancies because they want to make more money. And 18 per cent say they were motivated into launching a start-up because they felt they could offer something completely different to other consultancies.

The current economic growth is encouraging recruitment consultants with entrepreneurial tendencies to exploit niche markets, and the recruitment sector is growing exponentially as a result.î
