REC membership success receives national acclaim

.

The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) has won the membership success award at the Trade Association Forumís Best Practice Ceremony.

The awards seek to foster the search for excellence and recognise achievements. Last night the Trade Association Forum acknowledged the significant success the membership team have made in doubling RECís recruitment of members in the last year.

The judges admired ìthe comprehensive, multi level approach taken by the REC to address marketing issues and welcomed their success, from which other trade associations could learnî.

Gareth Osborne, Managing Director of the REC, said, ì I am delighted we have received recognition for this tremendous achievement. With the introduction of a series of innovative new activities, products and services targeted directly for the benefit of the whole membership, I believe there has never been a better time to be a member of RECî.

The judges highlighted two particular initiates they felt were not only innovative but key to the success of the REC membership team. They began by introducing Regional Sales Executives around the country to proactively visit potential new members with relevant information about REC and their activities both locally and nationally. They also significantly added value to the membership by enlarging their training and qualifications department and providing a team of in-house solicitors to offer free legal advice.
