RealJobs.ie, the ëNo-Agencyí recruitment website, today announced that it has signed up its first Franchisee in Waterford. RealJobs is the first Irish recruitment website to offer franchises. Franchisees will operate independent businesses but all their customers and their job vacancies will be published on the RealJobs.ie jobs website.
RealJobs launched in April 2002 and has stuck to its no-agency proposition which is a double edged sword. It is well received by jobseekers and employers who appreciate the no-agency job policy; but 90% of online jobs are advertised by agencies, and RealJobs doesnít have any agency customersÖ so, RealJobs has to work harder than your average job board to get more jobs.
