Quarriers Goes Online with PeopleBank to Attract Top Charity Workers

Quarriers, Scotlandís second largest care charity has launched a new recruitment website

Quarriers, Scotlandís second largest care charity supporting thousands of children, young people, adults and families, has launched a new recruitment website to help raise their profile as an employer and compete to attract the best talent.

ìQuarriers already has a great reputation for its projects in the community and by raising our online presence, we aim to be as equally well recognised as an employer,î said Angela Liggat, HR Manager for Quarriers. ìAll of our advertising and promotional materials will encourage people to visit the site where we offer a real insight into life working for a charity. The online application process will be fast and efficient and will transform our communications with jobseekers - giving us an edge that will encourage people to develop their career with us.î

The new site is hosted and managed by PeopleBank technology, part of Workthing, the UKís leading online recruitment solutions provider. The site will play a major role in streamlining recruitment practices by becoming the central resource for managing applications. The administrative burden on HR will be cut substantially, freeing up more time for the team to work on other key activities.

Bill Shipton, Commercial Director of Workthing said: ìThe charity sector can benefit enormously from online recruitment ñ not least because it can generate time and cost savings. Itís very exciting working with such a forward thinking charity such as Quarriers and weíre looking forward to delivering the same efficiencies to them as we have done with our clients in other sectors, such as retail and finance.î
