Quantica launches dedicated HR brand

Halifax based recruitment experts Quantica Search & Selection are to offer a UK wide service dedicated to Human Resources professionals. Quantica Human Resources will operate as a specialist brand within the Search & Selection portfolio providing a tailored service to an evolving function.

The company, which has an impressive client base of organisations operating within key manufacturing and retail sectors, is launching the service in response to the greater influence HR is having across UK industry.

Its managing director Glen Prince says: Greater recognition by organisations of the importance of the HR function and specifically the value it can add means that businesses are taking the appointment of high calibre HR professionals far more seriously. Estimates vary but there is evidence that a forward thinking HR department can add upwards of 10% to the bottom line via progressive people focused initiatives.

The old personnel departments full of people providing tea and sympathy for disillusioned employees have now largely given way to more dynamic, commercially aware HR functions. Quantica has an excellent track record of recruiting within HR over the last 13 years but our successes have been hidden within the Search & Selection brand. We now want to make this brand more distinct and explicit and have set it up as a division in its own right. The sector is fragmented and our belief is that there is demand in the market from clients and candidates for a highly professional dedicated service.

Alison Clarke and Louise Iredale are spearheading the division and both combine years of industry HR experience with significant recruitment expertise, enabling them to fully appreciate the issues facing HR departments. As part of an ongoing investment programme, Quantica is recruiting further experienced HR Consultants to ensure that it continues to meet the demands of the sector.
