Quanta identified as one of Britain’s top 200 companies with the fastest growing international sales

Another great result – and independent recognition – for recruitment firm Quanta, as it achieves UK-leading international sales performance

Another great result – and independent recognition – for recruitment firm Quanta, as it achieves UK-leading international sales performance.

Released on 13 July, The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 is the result of an independently conducted study by research company Fast Track, in association with The Sunday Times and HSBC.

The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 recognises the UK’s fastest growing private companies, in terms of international sales.

This year, Quanta has been placed 128th; a significant achievement, since almost all of the organisations listed are much larger companies. The league table is based solely on financial performance – so is an accurate representation of sales growth.

Stephen Trigg, CEO of Quanta Consultancy Services, believes that being listed in the Fast Track study is recognition not just for the company’s recent growth, but also for its long-term commitment to overseas sales. “It’s true that our international sales are growing fast,” says Trigg, “but a large proportion of our business has always been overseas. It’s something that’s deep in our DNA; something that we’re really geared up to do – perhaps better than many other recruitment firms.”

Fast Track has been publishing league tables for The Sunday Times for almost twenty years. The Fast Track programmes have strong support from both the business community and leading politicians – and have become a recognised benchmark for UK business performance. The companies on The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 have increased their international sales by an average of 36% a year, over two years – and are some of the UK economy’s best performers.

“Being nominated in a Fast Track league table is highly coveted,” says Trigg. “There are almost five million businesses in the UK, so to be selected in the top 200 is just incredible. We couldn’t be happier.”

This isn’t the first time that Quanta has been independently recognised. In February 2014, Quanta was placed 26 in Recruiter’s ‘FAST 50’ 2014 business intelligence report. Before that, in December 2013, Quanta was named as one of ‘1000 companies to inspire Britain’ in a report by the London Stock Exchange Group.

“This might be seen as a hat-trick,” concludes Trigg, “yet, to us, it’s the result of both our long-term business strategy and our commitment to delivering really great service. It’s great to be recognised as one of the best teams in the sector – but even better to be acknowledged for our sales growth across the board.”
