PSL, one of the UKís cutting edge psychometric testing innovators, will be exhibiting at this yearís Annual CIPD Exhibition in Harrogate, 22-24 October 2003, on stand number A32, offering visitors the opportunity to learn more about how PSL and how their assessment tools can add value to an organisationís recruitment and development processes. Two areas of focus for this yearís exhibition are PSLís unique and fun RPQ (Rapid Personality Questionnaire) as well as the launch of the latest, online test delivery system, QTE (Question and Test Engine).
The RPQ (Rapid Personality Questionnaire), available to trial on the stand, is a five to 10 minute personality questionnaire. Once complete, CIPD attendees will be provided with a comprehensive personal feedback report and a first-hand insight into the purpose and nature of the RPQ system.
We all know how online assessment can transform the efficiency and costs of volume recruitment. However, we have also heard stories of applicants finding psychometric test delivery software unreliable and incompatible. Solution: The QTE (Question and Test Engine) system, created as a fast, customisable, multi-browser compatible online test delivery engine that minimises technological glitches and has a maximum daily total flow of one million test takers.
According to Richard Alberg, chief executive, PSL: ìThe creation of the new QTE system means that recruiters can pick the most appropriate applicant tracking software and then simply add our QTE test engine to deliver seamless, reliable and pain-free integrated assessment. The entire process is automated and happens in real time. Candidates apply online, complete the relevant tests and the results is a screened, qualified short list of assessed candidates, thus minimising labour and administrative costs.î
