launches small business edition

SharpOWL Software International, European Professional Services Automation (PSA) software author, today launches SharpOWL Small Business Edition (SBE), its PSA software product for small and medium-sized service organisations.

SharpOWL SBE is aimed at any service organisation with up to 50 fee-earning consultants, enabling them to take advantage of PSA software to achieve the same technology benefits as large organisations when it comes to managing people and projects. These benefits include quick and easy time and expense capture, better resource management, and prompt billing and fee collection, all leading to improvements in staff utilisation, cash-flow and customer satisfaction.

Available as two separate offerings - SharpOWL SBE (Standard) and SharpOWL SBE (Advanced) - both versions have a fixed price, which includes software, implementation services and first-year maintenance. This ensures that small and medium-sized service organisations have full visibility of the total investment required at the outset, without any hidden costs.

Len Palmer, CEO of SharpOWL, comments, The professional services industry is facing its toughest challenge yet. A combination of market factors is forcing down profit margins on projects while customer expectations are spiralling, which is placing small and medium-sized firms under a great deal of pressure as they struggle to retain and win new business.

He continues, In a tough economic climate, understanding the impact of costs, recovery and utilisation of people provides a strategic view of projects. This is where PSA software can make a distinct and measurable difference, yet to date smaller organisations have been priced out of the PSA market. The launch of SharpOWL SBE now brings PSA software within the reach of these companies - this is a compelling proposition that delivers Tier 1 functionality at Tier 3 pricing.
