The best universities and businesses working in postgraduate education have been recognised as the winners of the Prospects Postgraduate Awards 2014 are unveiled.

More than 150 leaders in the provision of postgraduate education attended the glittering awards ceremony yesterday (10 November) at The Midland Hotel, Manchester, with a gala lunch and networking opportunities.

The Prospects Postgraduate Awards is the only annual event solely dedicated to celebrating best practice and the most exciting campaigns and developments in UK postgraduate education.

It recognises the universities, businesses and agencies that have had an impact on postgraduate education. A new accolade has been introduced this year for ‘Best Careers and Employability Team’, recognising the careers services who facilitate work-related learning opportunities for postgraduates.

Best University Campaign: Winner SMRS and Birkbeck, University of London; Highly commended Buckinghamshire New University

Best Faculty Campaign: Winner Postgraduate (PGT) Sport, University of Bedfordshire; Highly commended Brunel Law School, Brunel University London

Best International Campaign: Winner Media Minds on behalf of University of Roehampton; Highly commended Buckinghamshire New University

Best Prospectus: Winner The University of Nottingham; Highly commended London Metropolitan University

Best Agency: Winner Media Minds; Highly commended SMRS

Best Website: Winner Norwich University of the Arts; Highly commended University of Brighton

The Awards are run by Prospects, the UK’s leading postgraduate education publisher. The Prospects Postgraduate Awards are sponsored by University Business. The judging panel includes representatives from the NUS, Association of Graduate Recruiters and the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
