Fastpath Online from ISV helps UK recruiter achieve an estimated 100% improvement over CD-based testing & assessments ISV Group Ltd., the UK-based technology training company, today announces that UK temporary and permanent staff recruiter Prime Time Recruitment believes it has improved its candidate selection process by 100% since its adoption of Fastpath Online for testing and assessing candidates in secretarial and office applications.

Developed and hosted by ISV Group, Fastpath Online delivers competency assessments over the Internet to allow recruitment companies and HR departments to determine the knowledge, skills and abilities of candidates.

Prime Time will roll out the Fastpath Online assessments to 35 of its branches that recruit temporary and permanent office personnel to its clients, anticipating a volume of up to 1200 online assessments per week. Prime Time is able to tailor the testing and assessments to each clientís requirements, providing better-quality candidates and as well as faster response. Prime Time estimates a 100% improvement over CD-based testing and assessment procedures.

Fastpath Online provides candidates with full replication of live software such as Microsoft Office, Lotus, WordPerfect and Sage, and includes keyboard shortcuts to give a more realistic picture of typing skills. It enables candidates with the required skills and knowledge to be identified in less time. The Microsoft Office 2000 assessment simulations closely emulate real-world software applications and business processes and use both on-screen and audio instructions to guide candidates through each test. A candidate database produces a comprehensive range of reports that enable recruitment consultants to analyse the performance of different candidates, and identify those with the required skills and knowledge.

The software simulation tests have been developed specifically for the web environment and include assessments that can be administered to anyone, anytime, anywhere. Mrs Williams of Prime Time continues, ìAs we interview all candidates face-to-face, we administer the test from our branch offices. The data is compiled centrally, and the results are accessed by each branch as required; the move from CDs to a centrally-hosted online solution has made it much easier for our IT function to maintain the system our end. Our total investment has been less than 100k, and we expect pay-back within 12 to 18 months.î
