Preferred International Recognises Employee Commitment

.

Preferred International, the award winning human capital and IT recruitment consultancy, is delighted to recognise a quarter of its workforce that has recently celebrated employment anniversaries at the company.

Established in Southampton in January 1998, the company has been successful in many facets of its operation - year on year growth in turnover, sustained profitability, expanding and evolving customer base, mutually valuable customer relationships, leaders in taking innovative IT resource solutions to the market and the holder of a range of awards and industry/quality standards.

Preferred International’s Directors believe that these achievements are directly linked to the sheer determination, loyalty and development of its people. They are pleased to thank the following employees for their commitment and contribution towards building a successful company:

5 years - Emma Bartle (Senior Consultant), 4 years - Paul Hill and Jamie Mclean (Consultants based in Leeds), 3 years - Ben Stanfield (Consultant), Lucy Sloman (Branch Secretary) and Justine Wilkinson (Quality/HR/Office
Manager), 2 years - Mark Harrison (Consultant) and Kerry Jago (Marketing Manager), 1 year - Lucy Kitchen (Resourcer), Katherine Lloyd (Accounts Assistant) and Caroline Penny (Reference Co-ordinator).

We depend on our people to survive and flourish. Having the right people in place is paramount for any organisation - a belief we sanction not only with our clients and candidates, but also within our own business, said Preferred International Director Kathleen Smith.

We have set out to build a stimulating, supportive and motivating workplace, and continually invest in our talent. This has been essential in achieving sustainable business success - especially as we continue to expand
our workforce and service capability

This event coincides with Preferred International’s place in the finals of the Training and Development category of the Recruiter Awards for Excellence 2004, and the company’s recent re-recognition as an Investor in People (initially recognised in February 2001).
