Pnet and MrTed, combine their expertise to boost local eRecruitment.

Johannesburg, South Africa

Pnet (Pty) Limited and MrTed Limited recently announced that Pnet will become their exclusive representative in Southern Africa.

With this partnership Pnet confirms its position as the leading eRecruitment Network in Southern Africa and Mr Ted benefits by gaining a strong footprint in Africa. MrTed, the provider of global recruitment software solutions, has extensive operations throughout Europe and has a client base that includes Accenture, Siemens and France Telecom.

The multilingual, web based software solution, MrTed TalentLink, brings together all the essential processes of internal and external personnel procurement onto a central communications platform. This allows for faster interaction and information sharing between all recruitment participants. MrTed TalentLink automatically generates statistics to help analyse and optimise corporate recruiting and internal mobility processes, thereby reducing costs and increasing real-time solutions to the recruitment and staffing processes.

Effective Talent Management delivers the perfect external or internal candidate at any given time in any position within a firm, a capability which is increasingly needed as a decisive competitive differentiator, Mller Swart, Pnet Group CEO explains. Pnet has consistently expanded its services portfolio through its eRecruitment network to enable customers to achieve this objective. We have developed this partnership because MrTed TalentLink reflects our own organisationís philosophy. Talentlink enables very efficient development of individually tailored eRecruitment and e HR solutions based on the needs of our customers.

We are very pleased to gain an experienced and successful partner like Pnet for the African market. Together we want to obtain the same level of success in Southern Africa that we have already achieved in other European countries, states Drs Erik Schmit, Vice President at MrTed.
TalentLink has already been integrated into the Pnet site and is fully operational. It will ultimately allow locally based applicants the possibility of accessing a multitude of positions locally and internationally via a process that produces the most accurate fit between candidate and employer. That means that various sources of recruitment information can be collated at source, customised to address the needs of the employer and be available immediately. In effect, it creates a seamless interface between candidate, HR, recruiters and employers. In addition the system is ëtransparentí in so far as it allows the candidate to track his or her application throughout the application process.

ìThe partnership between Mr Ted and Pnet means that we are able to bring a complete end-to-end e Talent Management solution to the local marketî, says Swart, ìthis technology enables recruiters to radically improve their management of responses to vacancy applications, thereby identifying themselves as employers of choice.î
