Peopleclick declares dominance in contigent staffing technology

Strategic Partnerships with Staffing Vendors Promote Growth of Peopleclick VMS

With 78 customers, including 14 strategic staffing partners, now using its Vendor Management System (VMS), Peopleclick Inc., the leading total workforce acquisition provider for global enterprises, dominates the contingent temporary staffing technology market.

As services procurement is an increasingly important part of workforce acquisition, the vendor management systems market continues to grow, said James Holincheck, research director for Gartner Research. The growth is linked to the fact that customers can reduce their services procurement costs and co-employment risks, as well as improve the quality of their resources by adopting vendor management systems.

From one year ago, Peopleclick has doubled the number of customers served, contractors managed and revenue generated. Strategic staffing partners and end user clients include Neiman Marcus through MATRIX Resources, Inc., Hoag Hospital through Comforce and Cingular Wireless, one of Peopleclick’s direct VMS clients.

Peopleclick VMS provides the technology that manages and supports staffing partner processes, helping end users manage their contingent workforce for improved operational efficiency. Through its partners and clients, VMS supports the information technology, healthcare, retail, aviation, engineering, light industrial and administrative industries.

The success of our partnerships, our financial stability and the product’s scalability ñ to different business and pricing models ñ continues to differentiate us in the marketplace, added Stephen A. Sasser, Peopleclick’s president and CEO. These milestones will help Peopleclick continue to dominate the VMS market.

Peopleclick recently introduced VMS 4.2, including additional functionality that increases user productivity and spend visibility and lays the foundation for project and services procurement support.
