Pendragon company director sleeps out for children’s charity NCH.

Maxine Preston-Allen, director of IT recruitment specialist and corporate services group, Pendragon, will be spending a night under the stars in September to raise money for one of the UKís leading childrenís charities, NCH.

Maxine will be joining over 150 top IT executives to sleep out for Byte Night on 17 September 2004.

The annual sleep-out for the IT community, is at Potters Field in London and raises money for youth homelessness and teenagers leaving care projects.

Maxine said, ëByte Night is a fantastic way of raising money and Iíve received great support from friends, colleagues, IT contractors and clients of Pendragon, who are all willing to pay to support my sleep out. Sam Thomas , senior corporate fundraiser at NCH said, ëByte Night has become a highly successful event, raising over 1M since its launch in 1998. This year weíre aiming to raise at least 200,000 for our leaving care and homelessness projects throughout the UK and thanks to people like Maxine weíre sure weíll hit our target.í

Actress, Jenny Agutter, (The Railway Children, American Werewolf) who has supported Byte Night since its first year will join the sleepers in London.
