Pay for performanace recruitment advertising for oracle professionals increases applicant accuracy

And keeps the costs down!

Orca - The Oracle Job Site for the UK and European Oracle community, created by Birmingham-based Orca Resource Ltd, offers a fresh recruitment advertising model based on results, rather than paying for space. It reduces many of the risks associated with advertising in the niche technology recruitment market, as costs are incurred only when a qualified candidate is provided.

Orca encourages job seekers to view vacancies from a wide range of sources. Unlike traditional ’catch-all’ job sites, it is aimed at a highly targeted audience of Oracle professionals who typically command 20-30% higher salaries in comparison to the general IT skills market. Candidates who use Orca are likely to find the cream of the crop of available jobs.

Meanwhile, the Orca screening process means recruiters can view applicantsí details without opening CV attachments or reading lengthy emails, as the skills, location and availability of the candidate appear in the subject line. Therefore, candidates who are not suitable can be easily eliminated, meaning the recruiter can spend more time browsing candidates who accurately fit the job description.

Recruiters buy applicant credits that are used up when they attract a suitable candidate, and the credits are not time limited. The reach and duration of job advertisements can therefore be extended without the traditional increase in cost. Job ads can be posted quickly and Orca is already linked to leading job posting software, including Jobmate and BroadBean.

Applicant credits start at 25 per qualified candidate (with a minimum purchase of three credits costing 75), based on their experience and relevant European working regulations. Recruiters can apply for a range of accounts and pricing models. For example, Orca offers Paypal pre-purchase and invoice accounts, depending on the volume of advertisements required. Bulk purchase agreements are available to minimise costs.

Nina Das Gupta, agency director of Orca Resource Ltd, comments: ìNot all niche job adverts produce the desired results, and recruiters can spend valuable time wading through applications from candidates who arenít technically suitable or are based in the wrong geographic location. Orca speeds up the whole process by quickly highlighting the most valuable candidates for each job.î
