NORAS Summer 2004 results released

Enhance Media has released the results of National Online Recruitment Audience Survey Summer 2004.

Enhance Media has released the results of National Online Recruitment Audience Survey Summer 2004. The results feature information on the website of the recruitment consultancy Blue Arrow, the first high street recruitment agency to participate in the study.

NORAS is the UKís leading source of data on users of UK job boards and analyses information collected from 13,000 online job seekers to produce comparative data on 18 leading online recruitment sites.

In addition to the Blue Arrow data the results contain demographic and ABC ELECTRONIC certified data for the other 17 NORAS participants including generic sites such as Total Jobs and Workthing and specialist sites such as JimFinder and Secs in the City. Five of the participating sites chose to submit updated ABC ELECTRONIC audits for the Summer 2004 results.

Enhance Media and ABC ELECTRONIC are currently working on NORAS Winter 2005. The research will take place from September ñ November 2004 with the results due to be published in February 2005. The study is gaining momentum and NORAS 2005 will feature even more participants (approximately 30 online recruitment sites) and data (such as information on diversity issues including ethnicity and disability) than ever before.

The release of the results coincides with a re-launch of the NORAS website (www.noras.co.uk). The site now features a special area for registered users where members can download the latest NORAS results booklet and the previous results booklets from 2002, 2003 and Winter 2004 for free as pdf documents. Registered users are also entitled to use the basic version of NORAS interactive, the online data interrogation tool, for free.
