NOP reveals best known UK online recruitment brands

Fish4jobs comments on survey

NOP conducted a national survey amongst a cross section of Great Britainís internet user population. One in four respondents said that they had used fish4jobs, with almost 60% of those aware of fish4jobs stating that they are likely to use the site when they are next looking for a job - that is equivalent to over 13 million jobseekers.

Paul Sheppard, Research Manager at NOP World, who conducted the survey goes on to say:

ëWhilst nearly three out of four Internet users are aware of the fish4jobs brand, there is also considerable strength in the fish4 umbrella brand within the online classifieds market. When asked what online classified sites they could name, 1 in 5 Internet users spontaneously mentioned fish4. When you consider that this represents in the region of 4.6 million adults, it indicates that fish4 are in an excellent position to progress in 2004.í

fish4ís level of spontaneous awareness demonstrates how strong the brandís top of mind recognition is amongst Britainís internet using population. Moreover total brand awareness is also very strong ëWhen people think of searching for jobs, more people think of fish4jobs than any other site, and by a large margin.í Adds Lee Walsh, Trade Marketing Manager at fish4jobs. The Highest level of brand recognition was found in the North West, at 87%.

Over the coming year fish4jobs is putting in place considerable marketing investment to consolidate its position as the UKís leading online recruitment website.
