Nixers.com, the online recruitment site that specialises in entry-level vacancies has bought Jobs.ie for an undisclosed sum. Jobs.ie is an online recruitment company that has been established for over 5 years.
The purchase represents a move by Nixers.com to expand out of niche recruitment and into mainstream online recruitment.
In buying Jobs.ie as a going concern, Nixers.com will be adding about 25% to their monthly traffic figures bringing them to over 1m page impressions per month. Existing customers will have immediate access to the additional traffic at no extra cost.
In a company statement, one of the Founders & Directors Marco Herbst explains ìWe made our name specialising in junior vacancies, receptionists, call centre work, security guards and the like. We now find ourselves with a client list which would be the envy of any recruitment business, and we are moving up the value chain in terms of the types of vacancies we fill on behalf of our clients.î
To celebrate the takeover, Jobs.ie is offering a free recruitment advertisement to all first-time customers.
