New big brother package launched
for conference and exhibition market
Great venue for a party!

Following the successful launch of the Big Brother House as a venue for corporate events, Skybridge in association with Endemol UK and Elstree Studios has developed a new specific package aimed at the conference, exhibition, seminar and product launch market.

The Big Brother Business package has been launched, allowing exclusive access to the House and the garden for the duration of the event. The House has a capacity for 120 for a seated presentation, with greater flexibility for exhibitions and informal launches.

All programme details are tailormade by Skybridge to individual client requirements. A variety of catering options are also available from barbecues in the garden to more formal seated dinners.

The house can be hired from as little as 17,000 for which clients can expect a fully themed venue, which is fully lit and furnished with items from the Big Brother Show, including the infamous Diary Chair! Once in the House, very little other theming, lighting or additional furnishings need to be brought in.

Additional options to enhance a conference, exhibition, seminar or product launch could also include ''behind the scenes'' tours of the house, inviting former Big Brother contestants to mix with delegates, celebrity chefs to prepare catering in the House, music and some fun, Big Brother style mini-tasks.

Film crews can also be hired to capture the Big Brother experience with the option of a bespoke souvenir video for guests. The option of a Diary Room camera has proved to be popular, with both clients and staff confessing all under the scrutiny of Skybridge''s own Geordie Big Brother. Photographers and ''paparazzi'' to record evictions and guests'' ''walks of shame'' are also a fun way to record the event.

Peter Neil, General Manager of the project commented, We have generated enormous interest within the limited time of launching the Big Brother house as a venue. Initially we targeted the party and team building market, however, the majority of enquires has been for day time, more serious business to business events, such as seminars, press launches, product launches and exhibitions. Consequently we have now set our sights on targeting this market hard by putting together a tailor-made package. Literally any concept or idea that a client has will be accommodated by our Big Brother Business package, helping them to meet their objectives.

The House is an extremely versatile space and clients can be assured that any invitation to attend an event there will be much sought after. Anything to minimise the high cost of no shows at customer focussed events, will be much appreciated by clients who want to ensure maximum return on their investment, Neil concluded.

The whole of the 550 square metre house and the garden at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Herts, will be available for business events, when not being used for the television series (up until March and then again after Big Brother 4 which concludes at the beginning of August 2003).
