Monster Gov. Solutions provide recruitment services to U.S Department of Defense

.

Monster Government Solutions (MGS) has partnered with several branches of the U.S. Department of Defense to broaden the exposure of their open positions with job seekers looking for new and challenging opportunities. With the U.S. unemployment rate at 5.8%, now is the time for the public sector to reach out to those looking for work and educate them on the positive aspects of working for the government and representing their country.

Agencies within the Department of Defense are working with MGS to expand access and exposure to qualified job seekers nationwide, who often are well informed about career opportunities in the private sector, but not about jobs in the government and military. In order to recruit the top talent and compete with the private sector, government agencies are quickly embracing 21st century recruiting methods, by posting vacancy announcements and advertising campaigns on internet job sites to attract talented job seekers at all levels and in all fields.

The United States military is actively looking for qualified individuals to join the Reserve and active duty; however, what most people fail to realize is that we are also helping hire civilians across the country to fill other critical staffing roles, said Jeff Taylor, chairman and founder of Monster. It is an opportunity for job seekers to obtain positions which offer stability and strong benefits while serving one''s country.

Below are a few of the agencies currently working with Monster:

Naval Reserve:
The Naval Reserve has been working with Monster for approximately eight months and in that short time Monster has become their number one source of quality leads. Monster supplies local recruiters with a source of leads in their local markets by posting job opportunities in five occupational categories (medical; construction and trades, intelligence and law enforcement; operations specialists; retail, restaurant and general electronic technicians; mechanical maintenance and trades) throughout the country. The Naval Reserve has hundreds of opportunities at numerous locations across the U.S.

Air Force:
In an effort to fill current openings for nurses, dentists, physicians, pharmacists and engineers, the Headquarters Air Force Recruiting Service has launched an annual campaign on Monster. In addition to the job listings attracting candidates being posted in their top 50 markets, the Air Force is also implementing a wide array of Monster''s tools and services to broadcast the opportunities and benefits of serving their country.

United States Army:
The United States Army is actively recruiting for a wide variety of positions at installations across the country. Positions being posted on Monster range from parachute riggers, percussion and French horn players to ammunition specialists and administrative assistants.
