Just fewer than 50% of people say they are NEVER late for work

a survey by Tip Top Job

A massive 45.5% of respondents say that they are never late for work, with 21.1% admitting they are late just once per month. If these are honest replies then this is a positive indication to the time people spend at work.

19.6% actually admit to being late everyday - and this is not a small figure. The least number of responses was 13.8% who admit to being late once per week.

Even with just under 20% of people confessing to being late everyday, more than double the amount of people do say they NEVER come in late, which makes up for the numbers! But why is it fair for some people to work fewer hours than their colleagues??

Even though we all know that it is not uncommon to be late for work - the survey reveals an opposed result and this is pretty positive. For those of you that do turn up late regularly, if you add up the time lost when you are 5 minutes late everyday - that is an astonishing 6525 minutes per year, which is in fact for an average office worker nearly 14 days!! The result of being late affects your company’s productivity if you are not there - so try not to make being late a regular occurrence!

A previous survey by Tip Top Job reveals similar honest results like this month! 66.3% say that they NEVER call in sick wrongfully - which is a huge figure. There is still, however, 13.1% that admit to calling in sick almost everyday - so maybe people are not as honest as we think!
