Jobswithballs.com launches

.

jobswithballs.com launched on Monday 17th November as the leading recruitment and marketing network for the sport and leisure industry.

Amongst recruiters first to use the site are leading sport governing bodies, recruitment agencies specialising in sport and leisure, as well as health and football clubs, plus charities ñ many of which started receiving applications for their jobs within hours of placing their advertisements!

Roger Draper ñ Chief Executive of Sport England comments:

Most young people’s perception of working in sport still unfortunately revolves around either being a PE teacher or a leisure centre pool attendant. Sport is big business and now two percent of the workforce in this country work in the sport related industry. This industry is five times bigger than the music industry and there are endless opportunities for people to pursue a variety of careers across many differing sectors in sport.

The site is fully automated and simple to use. Using the very latest technology, recruiters set up their own account and manage their recruitment procedures direct from their desk! Job postings cost 250 per posting (less if you purchase a multi-job package) and stay live on the site for 60 days.

The service is free to jobseekers who can register for job alerts and newsletters and can also put on their CV and apply for jobs online.

This user-friendly site is modern and easy to navigate around. There are interviews with people working within the industry, career and relocation centres, as well as features on places to holiday, information on events, competitions etc.

Strategic partnerships have also been formed with organisations such as Sky as part of an on-going marketing and development programme.

All in all a fun and informative site ñ a must for anyone involved in sport and leisure or wanting to be!

Andrew Castle ñ TV Presenter and Former Professional Tennis Player:

This is an underdeveloped area where people find it hard to find good information so jobswithballs.com is a fantastic service
