jobs2share launches to facilitate collaboration between recruitment companies

.

Oxford Software has launched a new Internet-based service, jobs2share, for recruitment companies. The service, available at www.jobs2share.co.uk on an industry-only subscription basis, offers recruitment companies an advertising platform on which to post jobs for which they would welcome potential candidates from other recruitment companies. Other participating recruitment companies are able to search the database of outstanding jobs and submit candidates, in confidence, for consideration.

The jobs2share service reflects an industry practice that is in common use, but one for which no widespread means of effective communication has been available. ìWhile vacancy details are accessible to all subscribers, full confidentiality is maintained by the systemî, explains David Hancock, Director of Oxford Software. ìDetails of candidates are referenced only by number, and viewed only by the company ëadvertisingí the job.î
Recruitment companies wishing to register for the jobs2share service do so online. Once registered, vacancies may be submitted with details of job-title, location, criteria, etc. on which potential candidates from other recruitment companies are sought. Recruitment companies are able to search the jobs database using a range of selection criteria.

Companies responding to the vacancy retain anonymity of their proposed candidate until agreement on commission-split, etc. is reached ñ by email or phone. On-going contact between the participating companies is maintained by customised email through the jobs2share.co.uk site, which charts the progress of vacancies and candidates.
The jobs2share service is already live and costs less than 100/month per registered user. Recruitment companies interested in early registration or seeking further information should contact Oxford Software.
