jobpilot AG: dealing in the share has been halted

Consequently, all shares have been transferred to Adecco S.A. <br>



Bad Homburg, Germany, October 18, 2002. jobpilot AG (Neuer Markt: WKN 514 170, Ticker: JOA) - Europe''s career market on the Internet - announces that the transfer of shares of the minority shareholders of jobpilot AG to the principal shareholder Adecco S.A., decided by the general shareholders'' meeting, was entered in the commercial register of the Bad Homburg v.d.H. local court on 18 October 2002. Consequently, all shares have been transferred to Adecco S.A.

This means that the listing of jobpilot AG on the Neuer Markt ceases today. The shares are now temporarily listed in the regulated market. The company has also applied for withdrawal of admission to trading on the regulated market.

Pursuant to 327b AktG (German Stock Corporation Law) Adecco S.A. has undertaken to pay to the shareholders of jobpilot AG who have departed as a result of the transfer a cash settlement of EUR 5.30 for each jobpilot AG bearer share. The transfer of the shares to Adecco S.A. and the payment of the cash compensation to the account of the relevant departing shareholder is arranged by the respective custodian banks.
