IO Limited targets the European recruitment job market

for the launch of its breakthrough alternative to recruitment agencies.

Intelligence Online Limited selects the European recruitment profession as one of its initial target markets for PreCV ñ their innovative online applicant filtering tool. This decision was prompted by industry-wide dissatisfaction with the value and performance of external recruitment agencies.

Said Howard Popeck, PreCVís sales director, ìOur pre-launch research revealed considerable irritation with the amount employers pay recruitment agencies to fill their vacancies. However, many employers pointed out that when they advertised a position themselves, they were overwhelmed by the tidal wave of applications they had to scrutinise. They just couldnít cope. Caught between a rock and hard place!î

He continued ìMany had wanted to take their application process online, but couldnít afford to get their own customised system developed. So we developed PreCV in response.î

PreCV automatically processes every applicant through the employerís own customised online application process. Each applicant answers questions created by the employer for their specific vacancy. The system then automatically ranks respondents by suitability for the vacancy using the employerís own questions, so that the finest can be identified at a glance.

Typically, a recruitment agency will charge around 25% to 35% of the year-one salary to draw up a short list of applicants to interview, whereas in marked contrast, PreCV is charged at a flat rate of just 249 VAT per vacancy.
