Here is the latest update of the Alexa ranking spreadsheet, which ranks the top 135 job sites in the world in their respective job site categories.
Overall, this was one of the worst months ever for job site rankings. And it will likely get worse before it gets better, since December is traditionally a slow month for job search and a busy one for consumer-related sites.
Only 43 job sites (31.8%) experienced a ranking gain this month, while 92 sites (68.2%) had a ranking decline. The TopJobSites.com Composite Ranking Index was down 5.64% overall for the month. The worst performing category was General Job Sites, of which 75% had a ranking decline. The College Job Sites category was the best performer, with 60% of the sites having a ranking increase.
While many sites were down for the month, category leaders CollegeGrad.com (College category), 6FigureJobs.com (Executive category), Workopolis (International English category) and InfoJobs.net (International Non-English category) all showed positive gains for the month.
