Instant client reporting

.

New technology is helping recruitment consultancy Professional Pre-Selection Services increase productivity, radically improve its service and provide its clients with ëreal timeí status reporting, on request.

Recruitment Management System (RMS) is a specially developed programme and is believed to be the first example of integrated software technology, being used for the management of recruitment programmes, in the UK.

RMS was developed for PPS by Harrogate-based business software specialists, Foretel Limited and went live this April. It allows PPS clients access to up-to-the-minute reports on the progress of their recruitment programme, as it is able to simultaneously manage data input into a computer workstation and data received via the Internet.

As a recruitment consultancy specialising in telephone-interviewing to shortlist job applicants for high volume vacancies, PPS adopted RMS to streamline and speed up its effective, but largely manual, existing system to cope with recent expansion of the business.

RMS allows PPS consultants to manage applications and CVs sent over the Internet as well as script and record telephone interviews for each applicant. All data is automatically collated, cross-referenced and analysed. This means that PPS can compile evaluation reports, on each recruitment campaign, a task that usually took hours, within 15 minutes.

Useful data for clients can be reproduced in tabular or graphical format and will include details such as applicant response levels by the minute, the progress of the telephone-interviewing schedule and even details of the best performing media.
