The event will aimed to illustrate the good practice that exists in the UK regarding the recruitment and retention of women in ITEC and highlight lessons from others internationally.

Keynote speaker, Claire Curtis-Thomas, MP, said, I believe the Equalitec web site will prove to be an invaluable resource centre of good practice for companies and universities aiming to improve their gender equality. It will appeal to all the women working within ITEC and those considering a career in ITEC - presenting information and advice, which is relevant and useful. The government is fully committed to Equalitec''s aim of encouraging a culture change within ITEC - the value of this is recognised in the most successful organisations
