IEC offers job recruiting benefits through collaboration with ELECTRICjob.com

.

The Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. have teamed up with ELECTRICjob.com to help IEC members receive the recruiting, hiring, and human resources-related services that are so critical to their companiesí success and profitability. IEC and ELECTRICjob.com are working together to build programs that address human resources needs common to all electrical contractors.

As a main benefit of this relationship, members can now link directly from the IEC members-only section of the IEC website to the ELECTRICjob.com website, where they can post online job openings or search a database of over 11,000 prospective job candidates. ELECTRICjob.com also supplies an automated scouting service that e-mails qualified resumes daily to employers, using the job titles and region(s) that employers may be seeking.

Statistics prove that contractorsí costs can be significantly reduced when they choose to use Internet methods of recruitment. For example, the Employment Management Association recently conducted a survey to address the advertising costs of traditional methods versus Internet methods. The survey results demonstrated that traditional advertising cost-per-hire was estimated at $3,295 while Internet advertising cost-per-hire was estimated at $377.

Established in 1999, ELECTRICjob.com provides a leading full-service jobs and resume database that caters to electrical industry employers and job seekers. With over 1300 client companies in the MEP trades, ELECTRICjob.comís clients include residential, commercial, industrial and institutional contractors, wholesaler/distributors, manufacturers, building owners and managers, and consulting engineering firms. Its website receives an average of between 80,000 and 90,000 visits and over 3 million hits per month.
