Hy-phen technology to support one of the UK's biggest recruitment outsourcing agreements

.

This month sees the first-stage implementation of hy-phen technology to support Thales Plc, a leading UK player in the aerospace, defence and information technology sectors. Thales has chosen hy-phen's web-native software solution to automate its staffing fulfilment and support its existing Staffing Partner.

As part of the agreement, Thales' current on-site staffing provider will use hy-phen's workforce management software to manage contingent labour across the whole of the Thales Group in the UK (totalling 37 companies), as well as potentially expanding to the management of other recruitment agencies and preferred suppliers.

As Karl Whelpdale, hy-phen's Managing Director, explains, We already work with end-clients, such as Barclays Bank, combining our consultancy and technology offerings to deliver efficient and cost-effective workforce management solutions.

In some cases, however, we have found that the most practical solution for the client is to combine the preferred features from a select group of suppliers. Our work with Thales, to design a programme with their current staffing Master Vendor, has demonstrated the real and immediate benefits that such a successful supplier partnership brings: sharing expertise, knowledge and technology to fulfil the client's needs.
