Human Resources Forum and Human Resources Forum Europe share venue

P&O ship - Aurora 6-9th May

For the first time this year the Human Resources Forum and the Human Resources Forum Europe will be sharing the same venue, the P&O ship Aurora, increasing the learning opportunities for all participants.

ìWe are looking forward to bringing the two forums together in one venue.î Project Manager, Julian Gorst outlined the benefits of holding The Human Resources Forum and The Human Resources Forum Europe together on the Aurora in May. ìSimply, the opportunities for shared learning are vast. Although delegates from both Events are working within the same discipline and, to some extent are facing similar challenges, they will come to the forum with very different experiencesî he continued.

Delegates attending the forums have different conference programmes but the objectives are the same: to give senior human resource practitioners in-depth insights to many of the issues that influence their working world, as well as offering practical how to sessions, stimulating discussion and giving ideas for the future. Jessica Whysall, Conference Manager for the forums, commented ìweíve researched in detail the areas HR Directors want to discuss and have an exciting programme with many case studies from HSBC Bank; Securicor; Oracle Corporation UK; Virgin Atlantic Airways; Intercontinental Hotels Group; Levi Strauss & Co; Royal Mail; SouthWest Trains; and the Metropolitan Police Force.î

The Human Resources Forum UK and Europe will take place on board the P & O cruise ship Aurora from 6-9th May 2004. Nearly 800 of the HR professions most influential executives from the UK and Europe will be on board to discuss the latest issues facing the world of HR, sharing experiences and investigating new opportunities.
