Human Resource Group plc appoints Mark Stevenson as Group Operations Director

A 43-year-old businessman from Cheshire has been named Group Operations Director of one of the countryís largest independent recruitment groups.

Mark Stevenson brings more than 20 years of recruitment experience to his new job with Kent-based Human Resource Group plc. Having been based in Cheshire for the first few months of his new position working closely with the Group operating companies in the North he is now established in the Ashford head office.

He was formerly Director of Operations for TopJobs ñ an international online recruitment business specialising in management, professional, technical and graduate positions ñ where, as Director of Operations, he had total responsibility for Europe, Asia, the Pacific and Australia. Before that he was a Director of a specialist IT Recruitment Company with a 90 million turnover.

Of his new company, Mr Stevenson said: ìThe Human Resource Group is a very exciting business with excellent prospects built on solid foundations. With nearly 50 subsidiary Group companies, mainly run as joint ventures with their management, it has a unique structure and is full of entrepreneurial flair and talented individuals.

Jack Parkinsonís mother, Betty, founded the Human Resource Group in 1959. Since then it has grown into a multinational operation with nearly 50 companies, more than 400 staff, a nationwide network of 70 offices and an annual turnover in excess of 70 million.
