HotJobs Announces New Branding and Ad Campaign

Rebranded Site Helps Recruiters and Job Seekers ’Find the Right One’

HotJobs, a leader in the online recruitment industry and a Yahoo! company (Nasdaq: YHOO), today announced its new name: Yahoo! HotJobs. The new name leverages Yahoo!ís Internet expertise, first-rate brand and search capabilities, and combines it with HotJobsí career credibility and know-how. The new tagline -- Find the Right One -- expresses the value proposition to help recruiters find the right candidates and job seekers to find the right jobs.

We’ve been evolving the Yahoo! HotJobs brand over time in order to bring together the best aspects of HotJobs and Yahoo!, said H. Tres Meyer, senior vice president of marketing at Yahoo! HotJobs. Based on research as well as the increasing strength of Yahoo!ís search capabilities and HotJobsí recruiting expertise, we felt that it was the right time to unite the two brands into one.

For the first time, Yahoo! HotJobs has created a marketing campaign geared at both recruiters and job seekers. The company is quickly spreading the word by launching an integrated six-week campaign with television, print and online outlets. Beginning today, one 30-second spot will be running on television stations in the top ten markets. The 60-second spot will begin running on November 3. In addition, Yahoo! HotJobs is issuing a new series of full-page print advertisements in vertical publications, as well as running banners across the Yahoo! network and other Yahoo! HotJobsí online partner sites. Complementing these efforts, Yahoo! HotJobs is running a sweepstakes campaign offering a PC laptop computer with one year of DSL high-speed Internet service from SBC Yahoo! to the winner.
