HM Customs And Excise Chooses Northgate’s ResourceLink For An Improved Payroll Solution

HM Customs and Excise, responsible for the collection of billions of pounds of revenue each year in VAT, other taxes and customs duties, has selected Northgate Information Solutions’ fully integrated and web-enabled HR and Payroll application, ResourceLink, for a new payroll solution.

The new payroll system for the organisation’s 24,700 employees will interface with a recently implemented Oracle HR management system, with Northgate providing a managed payroll service which will be run from its Solutions Management Centre at Hemel Hempstead. The system is due to go live in April 2005.
