GTI is proud and excited to announce that Breakfast News has a new partner - Havas People - starting with the first event of 2015 on March 5 in London.

Havas People is committed to bring in speakers from across the global Havas network with fresh insights and different perspectives, to ensure Breakfast News remains as relevant as it is entertaining. This year's agenda will demonstrate new ways of looking at, interacting with, and marketing to future talent as the shift to Gen Z takes full effect.

GTI Breakfast News was created in 2008 to bring graduate recruiters, recruitment marketing agencies and universities together, over a full English breakfast, to listen to high quality input, discuss the issues of the day and to network with fellow professionals. Over 200 people attend each time, making Breakfast News the most significant and respected regular gathering of the school leaver and graduate recruitment community in the UK.

Now in its eighth successful year there are five Breakfast News events planned for 2015. Each event includes an economic overview from Declan Curry, findings from bespoke Havas People research, input from the Association of Graduate Recruiters and a guest presentation from a well-known and influential thinker. Previous speakers have included Michael Portillo, Dame Tessa Jowell, Ken Livingstone and General Sir Mike Jackson.

Gareth Edwards, Managing Director at Havas People said: “For the team at Havas People, Breakfast News has always been the ‘must attend’ event for up-to-the-minute insight into graduate and school-leaver recruitment. So as the new partner of this prestigious event, we are hugely excited at the prospect of working with GTI to deliver even more great content throughout 2015. Just like Breakfast News itself, becoming the new partner is an opportunity we just didn’t want to miss.”

Simon Rogers, Director at GTI, said: “We are delighted to welcome Havas People as the new partners of Breakfast News. It’s especially exciting to gain knowledge and insights from what is happening in the rest of the world to shape our own offerings and to better meet the needs of our clients in the UK.”
