Guildsrealm recruits top recruiter

With continued expansion on the cards, south coast based recruitment expert Guildsrealm has been practising what it preaches in the search for the right staff to help develop the business.

A detailed brief identified that Guildsrealm needed board level experience and an industrial background to handle increased recruitment requirements from the south’s manufacturing industry.

A search for the right candidate produced a shortlist for Guildsrealm to assess, interview and analyse. Following this detailed exercise Andrew Round has now taken on the role of senior headhunter with the Southampton human resources and recruitment specialist.

Andrew joins Guildsrealm to concentrate on recruiting for companies at board level, providing a comprehensive human resources solution for a company’s most high profile appointments.

Past employment has seen Andrew oversee the engine assembly line at Honda’s Swindon plant together with experience in the aerospace industry with Smiths Aerospace and Meggitt.

His industrial experience includes media work with Southern Print and Andrew has also worked in the pharmaceutical business, moving a factory from the UK to Mexico.

My background at board level means that I know what companies are looking for in terms of high level appointments and my industrial experience will help quickly assess whether potential candidates have the knowledge and expertise for the jobs they covet,’’ he said.
