Triple-Digit Percentage Growth Seen in Key Areas for Third
Quarter 2003 vs. Third Quarter 2002

PITTSBURGH, Penn. - Emoonlighter, the world’s largest online
marketplace for freelance talent, announced triple-digit
percentage growth in two key metrics for the third quarter of 2003 compared to the third quarter of 2002. Triple-digit
percentage growth occurred in the number of total projects posted and the amount of revenue earned. Emoonlighter saw the total number of projects posted on its four specialized sites grow 132 percent. In addition, Emoonlighter witnessed a 122 percent increase in revenue, despite continuing softness in the labor market during the third quarter.

The acquisition of the Guru.com employer base, announced earlier in the quarter, certainly contributed positively to this quarter’s increase in project volume, said Inder Guglani, Emoonlighter’s CEO and Co-Founder. Given the backdrop of a rather lackluster market for professional services, we are very pleased with the results. Going forward, we are very excited about adopting the Guru.com name and launching our new web model.

The new web model will not only integrate our separate IT,
Creative, Office, and Business channels, but also offer many
additional functionalities that have been requested by our
membership base.

The addition of new features, benefiting both employers and
freelancers within the marketplace, contributed to Emoonlighter’s growth in the third quarter of 2003. These new features included:

enabling employers to upload documents and graphics with
their project postings,

enabling subscribing freelance members to upload
documents and graphics with their proposals,

allowing employers to post private, invitation only
projects,

creating a resource center for employers and freelance
members,

implementing payment via direct deposit for United States
based freelance members, and

implementing payment via PayPal for international
freelance members.

To maintain its strong growth, the Emoonlighter marketplace will continue to evolve to meet the demands of its growing user base. This evolution includes:

implementing a direct deposit system for United States
based employers,

introducing additional payment options for international
employers,

introducing additional payment options for international
freelance members, and

launching a newly designed web model and website.
