Government Recruiting Websites Designed by Monster

Government Solutions Ranked Among the Best in Customer Satisfaction

Monster Government Solutions, a division of Monster Worldwide (NASDAQ: MNST), announced today that the recruitment website of the U.S. Department of State and USAJOBS, the official job site of the United States Federal Government, outperformed similar public and private sector sites in a recent survey by the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), which is produced by the University of Michigan in conjunction with the American Society for Quality and ForeSee Results.

The ACSIís quarterly E-Government Index measures 53 federal websites based on user surveys and ranks them on a score of zero to 100, with 100 being the highest possible score. The aggregate score for federal government websites was 70.3 as reported in the latest ACSI E-Government Index whereas the private sector companies surveyed by the ACSI had an aggregate customer satisfaction score of 71.4. The sites designed by Monster Government Solutions scored above both private and public sector aggregate scores with the U.S. Department of State receiving a score of 79 and USAJOBS, operated by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), a score of 76.

Monster Government Solutions is very proud to have contributed to the success of these government recruiting websites that are setting the standard for both the public and private sectors, said Brent Pearson, SVP and General Manager of Monster Government Solutions. Our goal is to help government agencies attract the top talent in the market and this recognition indicates that we are delivering on that goal to our customers.

Monster Government Solutions redesigned and relaunched OPMís USAJOBS website in August 2003. Since the relaunch it has attracted more than 78 million visitors and 1.3 million registered job seekers. USAJOBS can be found at www.usajobs.opm.gov

The U.S. Department of Stateís careers website was created by TMP Worldwide, the marketing and recruitment advertising division of Monster Worldwide, in order to attract individuals to careers within the department. The effort increased the departmentís annual number of foreign service exam takers by 45 percent and the site was also ranked as Best-in-Category for corporate websites by the Society for Human Resource Managementís (SHRM) Employment Management Association. The U.S. Department of Stateís careers website can be found at www.careers.state.gov.

The ACSI is a national economic indicator that measures customer satisfaction in both the private and public sectors. In 1999, the Federal government selected the ACSI to be a standard metric for measuring citizen satisfaction and it is now used by more than 55 federal agencies to measure the citizen satisfaction of more than 110 services and programs.
