*goodpractice.net shortlisted for prestigious HR award

Edinburgh-based company shortlisted for one of the UKís most prestigious Human Resources awards.

*goodpractice.net, the Edinburgh-based company which supports management performance through online resources, has been shortlisted for one of the UKís most prestigious Human Resources awards.

Working in partnership with the Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and CMPS(the Governmentís own centre of learning and development), *goodpractice.net has created the Leadersí and Managersí Toolkit.

The Toolkit provides unique desktop support, giving Defra managers access to a wide range of practical tools, management expertise and development materials. The Leadersí and Managersí Toolkit has been nominated in the category for Excellence in HR through Technology in the Personnel Today Awards 2004.

The category contains some highprofile co-nominees, including BUPA, Jaguar and Land Rover UK, and Shell People Services ñ all of which have shown the effective use of technology to bring about business benefits.
