return of Jobsite brand sets scene for future growth

Today online recruitment website Gojobsite will revert to the Jobsite brand name. The move forms part of a strategic brand portfolio review for parent company Jobsite (UK) Worldwide, implemented to increase its focus in core business areas and provide a solid platform for future growth.

This strategic review follows a period of substantial development in the companyís business, including the increasing success of CityJobs in the finance sector and the acquisition of recruitment software company Conkers. Other recent developments have included the initiation of a number of international partnership deals with sites such as CareerBuilder in the United States, and the winning of a major recruitment site design, build and management contract ñ details of which will be announced in September.

From September 01, 2003, the brand portfolio of Jobsite (UK) Worldwide will be structured as follows:

The Jobsite brand (www.jobsite.co.uk) will focus on enhancing its market-leading position as being the UKís ëbest of breedí job board, providing access to a high calibre UK candidate audience in a range of key industry sectors. The Jobsite brand name has a heritage stretching back to 1995, when it became the first online recruitment site serving the whole of the UK jobs market.

The GoJobsite brand (www.gojobsite.com), introduced in 2001 to facilitate the launch of a pan-European service, will be retained for the non-UK site network. It will continue to offer access to jobhunters internationally in partnership with leading international online recruiters, shortly to be announced.

The CityJobs brand (www.cityjobs.co.uk) will focus on developing its niche presence in the city financial sector, offering recruitment services to both recruitment agencies and corporates.

The Conkers brand (www.conkers.net) will focus on offering multi-posting and candidate tracking software solutions, supporting other brands in the portfolio as well as developing stand alone services

Jobsite (UK) Worldwide is also in the process of establishing a division to focus on the operation of its recruitment website design, build and management service.

Keith Potts, Jobsite managing director, comments: ìJobsite was the brand that introduced the concept of internet recruitment to the whole of the UK job market. It has always stood for a single-minded focus on making recruitment as easy, fast and productive as possible ñ for both jobhunters and recruiters, as well as a total commitment to providing the best standards of service and expertise in the market.

With the revival of the Jobsite name, we aim to build on all these brand strengths and take the Jobsite experience to whole new levels for all our users.î
